Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026

1. Introduction

Glowup, operated by Sliiick Inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services at glowuplab.app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Profile Information: Age, height, weight, build type, style preferences, interests, activities, and things you love.
  • Photos: Reference photos you upload for AI image generation.
  • Payment Information: Payment details processed through our secure payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • API Keys: If you are a Glowup Pro subscriber using our API, we store hashed versions of your API keys for authentication purposes.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our services, including API usage statistics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Generate AI-enhanced photos and content based on your preferences
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
  • Authenticate API requests for Pro subscribers

4. AI-Generated Content

Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate photos and written content. Your reference photos and profile information are used solely for the purpose of creating personalized content for your use. We do not use your photos to train our AI models or share them with third parties for any purpose other than providing our services.

5. Bundles, Permissions & Privacy

IMPORTANT: Our Service includes bundle features that allow you to create Personal Bundles (containing your own photos) and share bundles with other users. Understanding how bundle permissions and privacy work is critical:

5.1 Personal Bundle Privacy

  • Your Photos: When you create a Personal Bundle, your reference photos are stored securely on our servers.
  • Unshared Bundles: Bundles that you have not shared are accessible only to you. We do not share, sell, or expose your bundle photos to any third party without your explicit action.
  • Your Control: You maintain full control over unshared bundles and can delete them at any time.

5.2 Bundle Permissions When Sharing

  • What You Grant: When you share a bundle, you grant the recipient permission to: view all reference photos in the bundle, use those photos to generate AI images, and download/use any images they generate.
  • What Recipients Cannot Access: Recipients cannot: directly download your original reference photos, re-share your bundle with others, or see your personal account information.
  • Generation History: We do not share information about what images recipients generate using your bundle. Each user's generation history is private to them.

5.3 Privacy Risks of Sharing

  • No Privacy Guarantee: Once you share a bundle, we cannot guarantee the privacy of your photos. Recipients can view your photos and may use them in ways beyond our control.
  • Screenshot Risk: While recipients cannot directly download reference photos, they may take screenshots or use other methods to capture them.
  • Generated Content: AI images generated from your bundle belong to the person who generated them. You have no privacy rights over content others generate using your shared bundle.
  • Revocation Limitations: You may revoke bundle access at any time. However, revocation only prevents future access—it does NOT: delete any photos already viewed, recall any images already generated, or remove any content the recipient may have saved.

5.4 Your Responsibilities

  • Trust Verification: Only share bundles with individuals you know and trust. We do not verify recipient identities.
  • Consent for Others: If your bundle contains photos of another person, you must have their explicit consent before sharing.
  • No Glowup Liability: We are not liable for any privacy breaches resulting from your voluntary decision to share bundles.

SHARING BUNDLES IS A PERMANENT DECISION WITH PRIVACY IMPLICATIONS. ONCE SHARED, PHOTOS HAVE BEEN SEEN AND CANNOT BE "UNSEEN." GLOWUP AND SLIIICK INC. ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY MISUSE OF SHARED CONTENT.

6. API Access & Data (Glowup Pro)

For Glowup Pro subscribers using our API:

  • API Key Storage: We store a cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of your API keys, not the raw keys. The actual API key is displayed only once at creation and cannot be retrieved.
  • Usage Logging: We log API usage including timestamps, endpoints accessed, and credit consumption for security and billing purposes.
  • External Platform Data: When you use our API from external platforms, we process only the data necessary to fulfill your generation requests. We do not receive or store data from the external platforms themselves.
  • Key Security: If you suspect your API key has been compromised, you should immediately revoke it through your account settings.

7. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. Your photos and generated content are stored securely using industry-standard encryption. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon account deletion:

  • Your profile data and reference photos will be permanently deleted
  • Your generated content will be permanently deleted
  • Your API keys (if any) will be immediately revoked
  • Certain information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention)

9. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers who assist us in operating our website and services (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing)
  • To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests
  • To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • When you voluntarily share bundles with other users (see Section 5)

10. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party services including payment processors (Stripe) and cloud storage providers. These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with small amounts of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to access and receive a copy of your personal data
  • The right to rectify or update your personal data
  • The right to delete your personal data
  • The right to restrict or object to processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected].

13. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other jurisdictions where we operate.

14. California Privacy Rights

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

15. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

16. Copyright & Trademark Liability

IMPORTANT: Regarding intellectual property and generated content:

  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that content you create, upload, or generate does not infringe on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
  • No IP Screening: We do not screen generated content for potential intellectual property infringement. AI systems may inadvertently generate content resembling protected material.
  • Brand Usage: If you generate images containing logos, brand names, or trademarked elements, you bear full responsibility for ensuring proper authorization.
  • DMCA Compliance: We respond to valid DMCA takedown notices and may remove content alleged to infringe third-party rights without prior notice.

YOU ACCEPT FULL LIABILITY FOR ANY COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARK, OR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY INFRINGEMENT ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF GENERATED CONTENT.

17. Limitation of Liability for Privacy

While we take reasonable measures to protect your privacy, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • No data transmission or storage system is 100% secure
  • We are not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from your own actions (e.g., sharing bundles, compromised passwords)
  • We are not liable for privacy breaches caused by third-party platforms or services you choose to integrate with
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOWUP AND SLIIICK INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY PRIVACY-RELATED DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR VOLUNTARY SHARING OF CONTENT OR YOUR FAILURE TO MAINTAIN ADEQUATE SECURITY OF YOUR ACCOUNT.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
